Our under 16 and under 15 youth teams are raising money to travel to Jersey at the end of November. They will be flying over and staying the night.
They have been raising money for this trip by doing fund raising events at school, namely a sponge throwing stall.
Today they did a sponsored static bike ride and a cake sale. Star of the show went to the cake made by Simon Boots that was raffled.
The team took it in turns to sell cakes and cycle ‘to Jersey’. The cake was joyously won by Lianne Boorman.
Future events include a second cake sale tomorrow morning and a sponsored ‘mullet’ haircut.
Todays cake sale raised over £300.Our thanks go to
- Simon Boots for the cakes
- Andrew Cambridge and Matt Garman for the static bikes
- All of the parents for the cake ingredients
- And the players for their time and efforts
Well done, you are a credit to the club.
