Little Gemz, proving a hit on the Salts and for Seaford ladies

Little Gemz has been running for 40 weeks and it was set up by Seaford Ladies player Abbie Fry, the main reason for setting the group up was Abbie being a full time mum and wanting to meet other parents.
The group is run on a Monday and a Friday from 10:30 till 12 and free tea and coffee with biscuits is supplied, the group costs £2 per child. The group is led by Abbie and her mother in law Debbie. The group has soft play equipment and at the end of each session the group comes together to sing with the parachute with the kids love, the group has members from the age of 3 weeks to the age of 4. In the near future the hope is to run a baby group for 1 and under which will be more sensory based.
The group also continues to run through the school holidays.

While the group is a huge success for young mum and dads in the area to bring their children along to play it’s been a great success for Seaford ladies with 3 new players joining the ladies team after having come along to Little Gemz. Plus a number of players from both the men’s and women’s teams also attend the group, as well as people who have no real interest in rugby.

Abbie has created a great group at Seaford rugby club and we wish her continued success, if you are interested in little gemz please feel free to look at the facebook page and get in touch or come along.
